This course will show you everything you need to get started on your Continuous Improvement journey. 

The course has interactive eLearning content, followed by a practical assignment and a 30 min coaching session.

  • You will see an overview of the essential tools needed to build a culture of continuous and how the can be applied to tackle specific problems
  • You will learn about the following core tools:
    • Performance Management – See how performance management can be applied to measure the right things at the right time leading to improved productivity, efficiency, and team engagement
    • Visual management – We will demonstrate how visual management can used to create standards, ensure consistent working and help maintain a safe, efficient workplace
    • Standardised work – An overview of standardised working is also covered in this chapter, giving you the basics of this tools and how it can be applied to reduce variability and create consistent working
    • Practical Problem Solving – An overview of the key steps needed to apply practical problem solving in an environment
    • 5S & Workplace Organisation – This well established member of the Lean toolkit is essential for creating a safe, efficient workplace and ensuring it remains that way. You see an overview of this tool and how it can be applied
    • Process & Value Stream Mapping- Learn the difference between a process map and a value stream map.
